Lava stones collected by the artist himself are bolted onto a background of jet-black earth, with drawings rendered in light reflective silver ink. The innumerable signs of light that seem to emanate from the holes in the porous stones evoke the orbit of stones (meteorites) moving through space, or an interplanetary communication of sorts. As if in response to the vast amount of information contained in anonymous stones, the work attempts to inscribe lines that continue to be generated on a time axis far beyond human history, as a new form of language upon the picture plane.
